Indigenous Community Films: Lands, Waters, Voices and Rights

On Monday 21 October, Living Cinema @livingroombern and Arctic Voices are screening a series of short films from Canada, Kalaallit Nunaat/Greenland and Sápmi.

All films have been created by Indigenous filmmakers in their home communities around the Arctic. Through their films, the directors speak about Indigenous rights concerning lands, waters, representation, self-expression or describe the impacts of climate change in their everyday lives, and how people adapt and adjust to those changes.

During the evening there will be a discussion with Kati Eriksen (Ruoktojohka - Home River), Marie-Kristine Petiquay (Wapikoni Mobile) and Dennis Møller (Culinary Tale of Greenlands Changing Climate).
