Kati Eriksen is a dedicated Sámi activist, producer, and developer with extensive experience in various Sámi organizations and projects since 1996. She is committed to promoting the Sámi language, culture, art, and human rights, aiming to empower her community and support indigenous artists. Kati is the co-founder and executive director of Uksi Productions, originally established to publish Sámi music. Over time, her focus shifted towards filmmaking, a medium she feels chose her rather than the other way around.
